Packard Place Membership Agreement

I am joining Packard Place to become a member of the community. We are entrepreneurs, change makers, visionaries and professionals looking to empower others, create businesses that are purpose driven and leave the world better than we found it. We envision a future where individuals and companies will take courageous and mindful action to drive positive change.
As part of the community I understand that it is my responsibility to maintain and foster this Packard Place Statement of Beliefs.

We believe that people opt into the Packard Place Community because these beliefs are shared. We believe in the power of the free market system as the most efficient and powerful system in the world. We belive that system should be used for good. We believe that there is entrepreneurial Karma in the World. We are grateful for the help we received and we are committed to paying it forward. We believe that there is nothing our community cannot achieve working together. We understand that being an entrepreneur isn't for everyone. It is for the crazy few who believe what others can't see yet. We believe we are changing the world.”




Your membership entitles you to use Packard Place exclusively for the operation, maintenance and management of your business and activities.

Garage and Multi-Purpose Rooms:

The Garage and other multi-use areas are to be used exclusively for the operation, maintenance and management of your business. This means these spaces are not an extension of the bars downtown. Any members who use the space in this way will have their membership taken revoked.

You shall keep communal areas clean for the shared enjoyment of all the members and guests. You agree to place dishes in the dishwasher after use and report equipment issues to the Packard Place Staff.

 Please label all food and drinks that you place in the fridge, otherwise they will be seen as communal. Any perishable food items left in the refrigerator for longer than a week will be thrown away. 


All membership levels have access to printing services located on the 1st Floor. Go down the hallway in the Garage and into the kitchen; the printer will be adjacent to the kitchen. The Packard Place team can show you how to access these printers wirelessly. Please refer to your New Member Booklet or contact a member of the Packard Place team if you need the code again.


An Packard Place team member will be available M-F 9am-5pm. They are available to answer questions about the Packard Place and greet guests. They are not responsible for answering company phone lines and directing calls.

A map of the Packard Place space will be available in the front hall for all guests. The map will include the names of each company that are a part of our community.

 Guests can utilize the map to locate the garage event space, conference rooms, main drop-in coworking space, and community kitchen. Please anticipate your guest’s arrival and try to meet them at the front.


All Suite members are encouraged to put up their logo or company name on the glass of their suites. Packard Place will print a square sign logo to be hung in the 1st Floor Hall of Fame and also outside of your suite.

Conference Rooms:

Reserve conference rooms via Skedda. Members are limited to 10 conference room hours per month. If more is needed, please discuss with a Packard Place team member. 

Internet / Telephone Usage:

No spamming, posting or downloading files that you know or should know are illegal or that you do not have the rights to. Do not access any other device connected to the Packard Place network or the Internet that you do not have permission to access.

Usage of Internet for heavy downloading/uploading is not condoned and any acts which may affect the quality or usage of the service for other users is not tolerated. While the Packard Place promises to do its best efforts in providing you with access to Internet and telephones, you agree that the Packard Place is not liable for any damages for failure to furnish or delay in furnishing any equipment or Internet service (including telephone and telecommunication services) or for diminution in the quality or quantity of any Internet or telecommunications service.


All members and members’ guests are responsible for their own belongings and actions. Packard Place assumes no liability in connection with any losses related to personal items or any personal injuries that occur in the space. Should any action or inaction cause damage or cost to Packard Place, that cost is subject to be levied by member or members.

 To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Packard Place from any claim you have or might have in connection with anything that has occurred or might occur on or in connection with your use of the Common Areas or Offices.

 Video and Photo Release:

Photos and videos may be taken during events and in the Garage and common areas. We will respect the privacy of conference rooms and co- working space and photos and video will not be taken in those rooms unless verbal permission is received from members. We will try our best to give members warning if photos or videos are to be taken during business hours.

 We ask that all members inform Packard Place staff of any media coverage or photographs in the Packard Place space as soon as they know about it so that other members can be given notice.

 I give Packard Place full permission for the use of pictures, images, voice, actions, video footage and other personally identifiable information and waive all rights of privacy or compensation, which I may have in connection with such use of pictures, images, voice, actions, video footage and other personally identifiable information.

 I grant Packard Place the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use my picture, image, actions, voice and other personally identifiable information associated with such video footage in all formats, media and in all manners, including composite or altered representations, for advertising or any other lawful purposes.

I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished version(s), including written copy that may be created in connection with the video production, editing and promotion therewith.

Conflict Management:

Packard Place requests that all parties with whom we have formal and informal relationships, including customers, members, contractors, consultants, employees and volunteers, consider and agree to participate with us in alternative dispute resolution to resolve any and all conflicts and/or disputed issues that may arise within the course of our contractual relationship. In the spirit of our community manifesto and collaborative focus, we encourage respectful, open and direct communication to address issues at the earliest stage. In an effort to provide consistency and clarity for staff, hosts and members, we developed a Conflict Management Protocol for Packard Place, which outlines alternative dispute resolution processes that may be used to address any and all conflicts that may arise. An alternative dispute resolution agreement does not waive any legal rights.





Membership fees are billed monthly on the 1st of each month in advance of that month’s usage. Meeting room rentals and other resources are billed upon or following usage. 

Missed Payments:

Should the collection of your payment be declined or not received by the 1st of the month or date of invoice, you will have 10 days from the time of notice to reconcile the payment. If the payment is not reconciled within this reasonable time frame, the payment is subject to an additional penalty of 15% and your membership may be subject to termination. If the account is not reconciled with the additional fees within 45 days, it may be subject to collections. 


Packard Place will issue a key card for each member who has an unlimited membership level. You are required to immediately notify an Packard team member if cards are lost or stolen.

Changes to Membership:

Requests to change your membership level must be received by the 15th of the month prior to when you would like the change to take effect. Membership level changes will take effect the 1st day of the subsequent month.
